Not All Fatherhood Looks The Same - But Every Father Deserves To Be Seen
Share
I want to start by saying that however you wish to navigate Father's Day following a loss, is a deeply personal journey and there is absolutely no right or wrong way to do it. You may choose to gently put it to one side and try your best to get through the day. You may want to give your partner a card & a gift and mark the day in a special way together.
This will be our first Father's Day without Farren.
The Father's Day before this I had a card made with our 12 week scan saying 'Happy Father's Day Daddy, I can't wait to see you' which we now have up in his nursery.
I will continue to give William Father's Day Cards because he will continue to be Farren's Father. William doesn't really want to do anything (I think he wants the day to disappear) which is absolutely his choice and as a couple sometimes you may want to mark occasions in a different way or grieve differently.
So I am giving you the opportunity to purchase a Father's Day Card from us as a gentle acknowledgement of the day.
